Ghuna X, replying to the challenge proposed by Solar for this exhibition, works from electronic sound mixes, influenced by Michelangelo Antonioni's movies soundtracks, creating a sonorous ambient propitious to the imagination of other images, of films that could have been created by the director.
Pedro Augusto - multidisciplinary artist based in Oporto since 2001 - has been working under the alias of Ghuna X in the fields of experimental electronic music. He's been an active musician for various soundtracks and a record producer. His collaborations expand to different scenarios and musicalities. Has collaborated with Black Bombaim, Osso Vaidoso, Soopa, Vera Mota, Mia Soave, Henrique Fernandes, etc. Original soundtrack producer for films by André Gil Mata, Frederico Lobo, Rita Macedo and dance pieces by Joclécio Azevedo, Ana Borralho & João Galante, etc.
Producer for records by Calhau!, Capicua, Ra, Stereoboy, etc. He's co-founder of the collective Faca Monstro (2008) and the diy label Marvellous Tone (2004). Part of the Digitópia team at Casa da Música. Part of Ghunagangh project with Rey, since 2011.
