Mariana Caló and Francisco Queimadela
Mariana Caló, born in Viana do Castelo, 1984, and Francisco Queimadela, born in Coimbra, 1985, graduated in Painting from FBAUP and have been collaborating as an artists duo since 2010. Their practice is developed through a privileged use of moving image, intersecting installation and site-specific environments, but also drawing, painting, photography and sculpture. They were fellows of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in 2012 for international artists residency at Gasworks - London and winners of Lo Schermo dell´arte International Film Festival in 2013.
