With CARLOS LOBO, BES Photo Revelation 2005, and JOÃO LEAL, winner of the 2005 Pedro Miguel Frade Prize from the Portuguese Centre of Photography, we aimed at developing, once more, an original project, designed for the Solar space, through the exhibition of autonomous work that, within the artistic identity of both artists, would refer to their personal memories of cinema places. CARLOS LOBO and JOÃO LEAL are two artists who, despite exhibiting together in this exhibition, have had diverse paths and experiences, converging now, in this exhibition, with the same objective: a new look at the photography/ cinema duality, a new perspective, which keeps alive memories that have always been and will always be part of our cinematographic subconscious.
